Ministry at St. Augustine's
Ministry occurs in many forms in any church and involves, not just clergy, but laity as well. Weekly services, baptisms, confirmations, weddings, and funerals all provide us with an opportunity to minister to one another, and to allow ourselves to be ministered to as we join in times of worship. Within the parish, different organizations such as the Anglican Church Women, the Men's Service Club, the Craft group, and many others, exist with the goal of being servants of Christ within our church and our community. Our Outreach Committee strives to find ways to improve the lives of those in our community and indeed in the greater world. And finally, we recognize the importance of celebrating the presence of Christ in our times of fellowship.
We invite you to take some time to explore how ministry is offered to you at St. Augustine's, as well as how our parishioners are offered an opportunity to offer their own talents and gifts in ministry to others.
