FREE PARKING!
Here's the catch...
St. Augustine's Anglican Church is located on Westerland Rd., next to the Aquarena, and across the street from the Field House (see map below). We are currently looking for two students to sing in our choir on Sundays and take part in our regular rehearsals. In return, the successful applicants will be given a parking permit which will allow them to park in our parking lot for free for the duration of the semester.
From January 13th, 2016 until April 10th, 2016, the successful applicants will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Attend all weekly choir practices. Choir practices will be held from 7:30 to 9 pm on Wednesday evenings except during Lent (February 10th to March 26th), when they will take place Sunday after church instead (roughly 11:30 am until 1 pm).
- Attend the 10 am service on Sundays.
- Participate fully in worship services.
To apply, contact our choir director, Rev. Bob Earle, at rwjearle@gmail.com. A resume is not necessary, but a short abstract, outlining the applicant's musical education and experience, and current educational program at Memorial University should be included in the email. The interview process will include an audition during which each applicant will be expected to sing a song of their choosing. Previous choral or church experience is not required, although applicants will be expected to participate fully in services in respect of the traditions and worship practices of the Anglican Church.
