Welcome to our neighborhood!
Who is in our neighborhood? If you are like me you grew up hearing this song almost every morning. As a church we have the distinct privilege of being in this neighborhood, adjacent to Memorial University that has a diversity of population unique to Newfoundland. We would love for you to join us and our church family. We always attempt to have an exciting and diverse worship style; from services where we are blessed to have visiting choirs assist in our worship, to our own fabulous choir sometimes assisted by the musical talents of other parishioners. |
We have numerous ministry opportunities for lay and clergy involvement here at St. Augustine's, including membership in the ladies group (the Anglican Church Women - which meets on the second Tuesday of every month), and the men's group (the Men's Service Club - which meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month), the CLB (one of our youth organizations - which meets every Monday night), the Children's Church (both as teachers, helpers and students), choir members, servers, readers, prayers (prayers for the people), greeters, sides people, and numerous and exciting program committee (outreach) positions (as listed under 'Programs' in this web site).
