Getting married is one of the most beautiful experiences that happen in our lives – it can also be a stressful time – after all we only plan to do it once in our lifetimes and we want to make the celebration just perfect. There are so many questions that we want answered and so many decisions to make. What follow are some basic guidelines to help in your planning for your Wedding Day.

The Marriage License is the responsibility of the couple getting married and can be applied for at 149 Smallwood Dr. in Mt. Pearl or online at www.servicenl.gov.nl.ca. It may not be picked up until 30 days before the marriage and should be applied for at least 8 days before the marriage. It generally takes four days to process this application. The Church also requires having the license 4 days before the Wedding ceremony.
Our Wedding Fees for your Wedding Ceremony is $450.00 – which covers all costs.
Regarding your wedding music, please check with Tyson Bennett, our Music Director or with Fr. Anthony regarding your choice of music and the instrument(s) you are wish to use. We have a CD and an Ipod or Phone connections, connected to our sound system, if you want to make use of it.
If you want to have the Minister attend your wedding reception, please invite them in writing. In your invitation, it would be proper to invite the Minister’s guest as well. If your intention is to have them say the grace at your reception, please indicate this to them prior to the wedding day.
We ask that Decorations in the Church not be placed in the church with any adhesive (no tape!) or nails or staples or thumbtacks.
